You can now pin events and tasks to be top of mind, because some dates you look forward to, and some things you can’t miss

You can now pin events and tasks to be top of mind, because some dates you look forward to, and some things you can’t miss

New

• You can now pin any entry to the top of your Agenda, because some things you want to regularly count down too :) A post-it note containing all your pinned items is on the trailing edge of your chart at the top 📌 You can pin items either by long-pressing on a task or event card, or from their fullscreen bottom bar.
• If you have notifications on, you’ll receive one on a Sunday evening nudging you to check out what’s coming up next week.

Improvements

• Energy icon is better positioned on Day view cards (was previously too close to text and top).
• Keyboard instantly hides when you navigate away from a text input field in entry.
• Duration no longer visible on medium widget so entry titles don’t get prematurely truncated (will be visible on bigger widgets coming soon).
• Task circles have more weight on widgets.
• Bar above keyboard on back of card event notes is more compact and seamlessly blends in with rest of page.
  • Similarly keyboard color here respects system theme.
  • Comes in from the bottom too for a nicer transition.
• Bottom toolbar visually refreshed on fullscreen cards with some additions too:
  • [Notes] has two variations with the version with lines of text inside the document hinting that the entry has notes.
  • When you are looking at notes, there’s a new [Copy] button to save you the trouble of needing to copy from the [Share] sheet.
• Some buttons across the UI will have a new pushdown effect when pressed, most notable [Save] in entry.
• Less vertical padding on week buttons in time keyboard.
• The “+1” that rises from tab bar should be more apparent due to tweaked timing and bigger appearance (also simplified so it always says +1).
• When app transitions to a new day in an app resume, greeting screen should stay up for longer.
• Widget won’t say something silly like ”Rest of today is free” at 10pm. Will distinguish between day and night time when saying similar.
